Business Strategies and Planning International Support for Import or Export Ventures. Research & Maximizing the Value of Data Competitive Tracking and Analysis

Focused on Optimization and Opportunity.
My father was a small business owner. He was also
an engineer, an inventor, and a technical consultant. I couldn’t avoid
growing up with an eye toward system development and efficiency. I remember my dad telling us “You can always look for a better way to do
something” and that has affected me all my life -- not always with
comfortable results. Not everyone wants to hear that you begin by thinking
that his idea
or methods can or should be improved! But it is exciting when you met
someone who is truly open to brainstorming. I dropped out of two different graduate programs due
to attractive business challenges. I have three quarters of a PhD in Political
Science and half an MBA. But my real education has come from doing
business with a cast of motivated entrepreneurs, each excited about
building his enterprise. I have had the good luck to meet many accomplished and some famous people, none of whom should intimidate you. My most fortunate experiences have allowed me to meet and know people from around the world, most many interesting and talented people, and to learn from their perspectives and how they do business.. My own business experience has been primarily with smaller firms, everywhere along the curve from conceptual-pre-startups to mature-declining-turnarounds. You learn from both their successes and
their mistakes. I am fascinated by the concepts of leadership,
productivity, systems optimization, and most of all, human potential. I
have been lucky enough to be able to coach and foster the development of
athletes, students, and entrepreneurs. When the human chemistry is
positive, working with an enthusiastic individual or group is my most
rewarding activity. For business owners, among a rich array of
organizational and technical goals, the overall objective is to foster the development
of a thriving enterprise. Sometimes
it just takes an outside perspective to stir things up. Sometimes it
takes a period of focused support to build something new or to redirect
elements that are overly entrenched. But ultimately, it should be
possible to define targets and desired outcomes and to fashion
strategies and systems most likely to succeed. I have had comfortable involvements and experience
with a number of entrepreneurs, managers, and their organizations in the
fields of manufacturing, import-export, distribution, marketing, and
communications. I enjoy working with non-profit organizations. I especially enjoy
working with international clients.
That’s a little about me. What about you? Begin a
